This Privacy Policy describes how Apex Path ("we", "us", "our", or "the App")
collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile
application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using Apex Path, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If
you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
Apex Path is a mobile coding-skills learning platform. The data controller
under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the developer of
Apex Path.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information. When you register, we collect your email address,
chosen username, and a securely hashed password (we never store the
plaintext password).
- OAuth identifiers. If you choose to sign in with Google or GitHub, we
receive your identifier from that provider plus the email and username
associated with that account. We do NOT receive your password from the
provider.
- Profile preferences. Theme selection, timezone (used for sending
reminders at appropriate hours), and onboarding answers (skill self-
assessment).
- User-generated content. Code you write inside the App, including drafts
and submitted solutions. Battle solutions. Skill tree progress and quiz
answers.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Focus session timestamps and durations, exercise
completions, XP awards, streak data, battles played, skills practiced.
- Device information. Device platform (iOS / Android), app version, and
push notification token (only if you grant notification permission).
- Crash and error logs. Anonymized stack traces if the app crashes, so
we can fix bugs.
